Arrhythmia Alliance (A-A) - Australia is a health promotion charity working for better understanding, diagnosis, treatment and quality of life for those affected by heart rhythm disorders (cardiac arrhythmias).
The aims of the charity are to promote:
- Awareness of causes, symptoms, diagnosis and treatments
- Better understanding and education
- Improved diagnosis, treatment and quality of life
- Multi-centre and multi-disciplinary assessment

Pulse Checks in Hollywood Hospital, WA during AF Aware Week
Tracy Swanson, Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist and her team from Hollywood Private Hospital held a know your pulse clinic at the start of AF Aware Week.
A total of 41 individuals were assessed and eight people were detected with an irregular arrhythmia.
